
During the Covid – 19 pandemic safety measures have been put in place to protect patients and our staff from possible infection. To minimise the number of people attending the clinic our doors will remain locked to the public, unless a prior arrangement has been made for a face to face consultation with a Doctor or Nurse.

How will my appointment work if I can’t come into the clinic?
You will still be required to book an appointment with your Doctor as usual but instead of coming into the clinic the Doctor will conduct your consultation over the phone at or close to your appointment time
Can I make an appointment about my chesty cough, I do occasionally suffer chest infections?
You will be required to book an appointment with your Doctor as usual who will conduct your consultation over the phone at; or close to your appointment time. During the phone conversation the Doctor can make an informed decision if you will need to come into the clinic for further examination. Our friendly staff will give you a follow up phone call to arrange for you to come in for a face to face consultation.

What if my child has a rash which my Doctors needs to look at?
When you contact the clinic to make the appointment you just need to let our reception staff know that it is regarding a rash. You will be then asked a set of questions about the current health of those coming along for that appointment. Our friendly reception staff will give you further instructions for when you arrive for your appointment.
If I can’t come to the clinic can I just phone for a new script?
Same as usual, you will be expected to make an appointment to discuss the script you are needing . The Doctor will give you a phone call at or near your appointment time. A copy of your script will be provided to your nominated Pharmacy who will then wait for you to contact them about pick up prior to packing your medication.
How can I get a medical certificate for my workplace?
Same as usual, you will be expected to make an appointment to discuss the certificate you are needing The Doctor will give you a phone call at or around your appointment time to discuss what you need. A copy of your certificate will be forwarded to a fax / email address that you provide.
What do I do if I need to see the nurse for my regular injection?
Same as usual, you will be expected to make an appointment with the nurse and our friendly reception staff will give you further instructions for when you arrive for your appointment.
I need to come for an INR appointment what will I need to do?
INR appointments have been allocated for the last hour during the morning session. To minimise the number of people coming into the clinic and reducing the risk of infection the Doctor and a Nurse will come to see you in your car. Or friendly reception staff will give you instructions on what to do when you arrive for your appointment.
I need to have a blood test done, how will the Pathology know I have arrived if the doors are locked?
Currently the Dorovitch collection point located at Clocktower Medical is closed. You will have to go to their rooms in Pearson St at the rear of the hospital, they are open Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm
I need to book myself and my children in for a flu jab, what is the process for this?
Same as usual, you will be expected to make an appointment in a flu clinic. which are operating off site for the moment, you will be given details when you book. BOOKINGS WILL ONLY BE MADE FOR OUR REGULAR PATIENTS.
